P9 Pre-paid Parking (sold out)

From Helen Suzman Blvd, do not turn into Vlei Rd but turn rather into Bill Peters Road (the same road as the Sea Point SAPS station and the Virgin Active parking entrance) to access the P9 parking area in Green Point Park. GPS coordinates: -33.90537617521305, 18.40297775227617.


Accessibility Parking:

All accessibility ticket holders will receive a complimentary disabled parking ticket from the Ticketmaster Customer Care team. Please note that no action is required; Ticketmaster will reach out to all disabled patrons directly. Disabled parking is located in P5 by DHL Stadium. To access this area, enter Vlei Road via Helen Suzman Boulevard. Continue down Vlei Road, P5 is on your right (before Fritz Sonnenberg road). Disabled Parking tickets are required to access this area and will be checked/scanned upon arrival. GPS coordinates:  -33.90434196906617, 18.409205214387907.


Free parking around the Stadium: 

There is unsecured limited free parking off Main Road, P10, P12, P13 and P14.


Free street parking within 2km of the stadium:

There is unsecured limited free street parking off Buitengracht street with a short walk along Somerset road to the stadium.


Additional parking information:

Be mindful of parking restrictions being enforced in the residential areas adjacent to Cape Town Stadium from 8:00 to 22:00, which includes Main Road.

Motorists are advised to obey the signage. Normal restrictions and charges apply to kerbside parking in the CBD for a weekday. 

Civic Centre Parking: 

Avoid traffic congestion around the stadium by parking for free at the Civic Centre (simply show your concert ticket upon arrival) and catch the free MyCiTi shuttle to the stadium via the dedicated bus lane, available before and after the concert.

Dress Code

The dress code is smart/semi-formal. However, we highly recommend you wear comfortable shoes, as you may walk a considerable distance from the parking area to your seat. Flat shoes for ladies are highly recommended - preferably no heels, especially for those seated on the field. Please bring appropriate warm clothing as it is likely to cool down once the sun sets. Please do not wear any big hats or fascinators as this will obstruct the guests’ view behind you. Umbrellas are not permitted.

Important: Ensure you VIEW your ticket on your phone before you arrive at the venue. Once you've done this, your ticket will cached on your device - this will allow you to seamless access your ticket, even if you have connectivity issues upon arrival at the venue.

  • Download the Ticketmaster app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Log in to your Ticketmaster account and view your tickets in the Ticketmaster app.
  • Alternatively, you can access your tickets in your Ticketmaster account through your mobile phone browser.
  • Please ensure you have the tickets ready to scan at the entrance to the venue and your ticket is live; this means the foil is running at the top of the ticket.
  • Screenshots are not valid for entry.
  • Only tickets purchased from Ticketmaster.co.za are valid for entry. If you’ve purchased tickets from secondary resellers such as Viagogo, you will not be permitted entry into the venue and we urge you to contact Ticketmaster if you have.

Need to transfer tickets to a friend: You can transfer tickets via the Ticketmaster app or your Ticketmaster account on the Ticketmaster website.

  • Go to your order under “Upcoming Events”. Select “Transfer”.
  • Select the tickets you want to transfer.
  • Enter the recipient’s details.
  • Select “Confirm”.
  • The recipient will receive an email asking them to accept the tickets and register an account with Ticketmaster.

Please give your family and friends a nudge and ask them to check their spam folder if they don’t receive the email from Ticketmaster. The email will come from ‘noreply@ticketmaster.co.za’.

No, if you leave the event, you won’t be able to come back in. Once you’re in, you’re in, so please make sure you bring everything you need with you.

Gates close at 20H30, you will not be able to enter after this time. Please note, due to the nature of this event, all patrons need to be seated prior to the start of the show at 20H00. Please ensure you arrive early as there is often heavy traffic and long queues as you approach the venue.

Yes, there will be a limited range of garments and accessories all designed for real fans! The merchandise range will only be available to purchase at the venue.

No cash will be accepted. Debit or credit cards only. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. 

Yes, the MyCiTi shuttle service will be activated for this event. See more information under "Plan Your Journey".

There are limited dedicated disabled seats available for this venue (there is no raised platform or designated area on the field). A disabled ticket is required. If you are in a wheelchair and you have not purchased a disabled ticket, please contact Ticketmaster here and they will advise the available options (please note that accessibility tickets are limited).

If you arrive at the venue and you haven’t contacted Ticketmaster, we (Big Concerts, Ticketmaster, and the contractors) will do our best to accommodate and assist you on site, subject to our capacity to do so, and within the confines and layout of the venue facilities.

Yes, there will be a large variety of food trucks and food kiosks inside the venue. Please note: you are not permitted to bring food/beverages into the venue. Please bring your ID to the stadium should you plan on consuming alcohol. When buying beer, there is a limit of 4 dinks per person.

This is a cashless event. To purchase any food, beverages or merchandise you need to have a credit or debit card.

  • Access to a private non-complimentary bar & food items. Food and beverage items will be available to purchase in the Business Lounge.

A general business Lounge ticket does not include complimentary food, drinks, merchandise or parking. Food and beverages may not be brought into the Business Lounge from podium vendors. 

Platinum tickets are the best-seated tickets in the house, located on the field close to the stage. There is a dedicated platinum bar in the stadium basement near Gate C.

Upon arrival at Gate C, each Platinum guest will receive a wristband and one complimentary drink.

A platinum ticket does not include additional beverages, food, merchandise or parking.

There will be ticket resolution stations at every gate, these stations will be manned by Ticketmaster. If you are inside the stadium and you need assistance, please proceed to foyer A.

No children under the age of 3 (three) are allowed to attend the event. A responsible adult must accompany children 16 years of age and under. Over 16s can attend without an adult. Those between 16-18 years of age who are not accompanied by a parent / guardian must have an emergency contact number for their parent / guardian saved under the name ICE on their mobile phones.

Enhanced security checks are in place on arrival to DHL Stadium, we ask you to please support and cooperate fully so our team can efficiently carry out these measures to ensure your safety and make sure you are inside the stadium in time for the show.

We ask that you keep personal belongings to a minimum and only bring your essentials. Please do not bring large bags, as these will not be allowed into the stadium.

The Lost & Found hub will be located in Foyer F in the stadium. This area is only accessible to those with a valid ticket.

  • Professional cameras (a detachable lens) or professional video recording devices. Due to artist stipulations, they are not permitted.
  • Computers, laptops, selfie sticks or Ipads/tablets
  • Glass bottles, cans, or containers or other heavy and/or sharp objects
  • Any illegal drugs or paraphernalia or items deemed to be offensive
  • Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, helmets or bicycles
  • Knives, weapons, chains of any nature or fireworks
  • Laser pointers and flashlights
  • Flags with poles, large flags or banners
  • Whistle, horn, musical instrument, loud hailer, public address system, digital, electronic, or other recording or broadcast device
  • Any item that you intend to distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale, or display for marketing or promotional purposes
  • No animals apart from authorised guide/companion dogs
  • No Umbrellas are allowed as they pose a safety risk and sightline issues, rather dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Please ensure you come prepared for all weather conditions. Umbrellas will unfortunately be confiscated at the entrances.
  • Braais and camping chairs are not permitted.
  • Firearms are strictly forbidden
  • Any dangerous goods and any other items considered to be dangerous or capable of causing a public nuisance.
  • Cooler boxes, camera bags, bags, briefcases and backpacks. In summary, all bags have to be 15 cm (D) x 20cm (W) x 30cm (H) or less in size - see the 'bag policy" below.

Amnesty bins will be placed at all entrances where prohibited items can be placed within these bins prior to entering the search points. The amnesty bins will be removed and confiscated by SAPS.
No camping will be allowed outside the venue.
No patrons will be allowed to queue outside the venue until 10 am on the day of the show.

If you fail to comply with this requirement and refuse to vacate the area after being instructed to by security and/or SAPS, we reserve the right to confiscate your ticket and escort you from the venue. In the case of an unaccompanied minor your parents / guardian will be contacted to collect you from the venue and if they fail to do so within a reasonable time, we will contact City Social Services. 

Is there a bag policy?


This event will follow a strict bag policy.

All bags have to be 15 cm (D) x 20cm (W) x 30cm (H) or less in size. Only 1 bag per person will be permitted. All bags will be searched.

Any bags not permitted inside the Stadium will be confiscated by security should you not be able to make arrangements to store them. Any items confiscated will be handed over to SAPS. Note that any items confiscated will not be returned to patrons. There will be NO storage provided by the venue and is solely your responsibility.   

Safety, Security and Disaster Risk staff will be positioned inside and outside the stadium to respond to any emergencies and reserve the right to extract you from any area for safety and security reasons.
