Please take note of the following important show information for the George Ezra concert at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on Wednesday 12 July.

 Arrive early to avoid queues. Before entering the arena, ensure you get your ticket scanned and wristband issued. Please also take the time to read the important ticket information below.

CAUTION: This show carries a strobe Light warning. This show may not be safe for some people with epilepsy.

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION

Have your tickets ready:

  • Download the Ticketmaster app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Login to your Ticketmaster account and download your tickets to the Ticketmaster app.
  • Alternatively, you can access your Tickets in your Ticketmaster account at www.ticketmaster.co.za through the browser on your mobile phone.
  • Please ensure you have the tickets ready to scan at the entrance to the venue.

Need to transfer tickets to a friend? Follow these simple steps:

  • In the App or your Ticketmaster account on the Ticketmaster website, go to your orders under “Upcoming Events”.
  • Select “Transfer”.
  • Select the tickets you want to transfer.
  • Enter recipient’s details.
  • Select “Confirm”.
  • The recipient will receive an email and they must accept the tickets and register a Ticketmaster account for the tickets to be transferred from you to them. 

* Please give them a nudge and ask them to check their spam folder if they don’t receive the email from Ticketmaster.

Only tickets purchased from Ticketmaster.co.za are valid for entry. If you’ve purchased tickets from secondary resellers such as Viagogo, these tickets will not permit entry into the venue.

AGE RESTRICTION

No children under the age of three are allowed into the venue. All minors must have a valid ticket, adequate ear protection and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please note if you are purchasing standing tickets you must be over the age of 12 and 1.2m. This applies to tickets in Front Zone Standing and General Admission standing areas. Ticketmaster & the promoter of the event has no responsibility to reseat your tickets in the event that you do not meet the minimum requirements and you may be asked to leave the venue.

OFFICIAL PLATINUM TICKET HOLDERS 

Please keep an eye out for the designated Platinum signage and ushers, that will assist you to your seats.

PARKING

The GrandWest has ample parking controlled by a paid parking system, which costs R10 per vehicle. There are disabled parking bays available in the major parking areas.

MERCHANDISE

DISABLED INFORMATION

There are limited dedicated disabled seats available for this venue (there is no raised platform). A disabled ticket is required. Disabled parking is allocated off the main parking area. On arrival, please ask security to direct you to the right parking area.

If you are in a wheelchair and you have not purchased a disabled ticket, please contact Ticketmaster here and they will advise the available options (please note that accessibility tickets are limited).

If you arrive at the venue and you haven’t contacted Ticketmaster, we (Big Concerts, Ticketmaster, and the contractors) will do our best to accommodate and assist you on site, subject to our capacity to do so, and within the confines and layout of the venue facilities.

DOS AND DONT'S

  • Do arrive and enter the venue early to avoid queues and delays.
  • Don't forget to get your tickets ready (see instructions under “Important Ticket Information”).
  • Do not print your ticket or take a screenshot of your tickets – this won’t allow entry.
  • Do bring your ID (if you intend to consume alcohol).
  • Don't bring a camera/ iPad. Due to artist stipulations, they are not permitted.
  • Do make sure your phone is charged before leaving for the concert.
  • COVID – there are NO Covid regulations, you do not need to bring any Covid-19 documents.
  • Please do not leave your seats during the performance.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Professional detachable cameras and any professional recording devices
  • Computers, laptops, tablets, selfie sticks
  • Glass bottles, cans, or containers or other heavy and/or sharp objects
  • Any illegal drugs or paraphernalia
  • Skateboards, scooters, roller blades or bicycles
  • Knives, weapons of any nature or fireworks
  • Laser pointers and flashlights
  • Flags with poles, large flags or banners
  • Whistle, horn, musical instrument, loud hailer, public address system, digital, electronic, or other recording or broadcast device
  • Any item that you intend to distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale, or display for marketing or promotional purposes
  • No animals apart from authorised guide/companion dogs
  • Umbrellas, braais, and camping chairs
  • Firearms are strictly forbidden
  • Any dangerous goods and any other items considered to be dangerous or capable of causing a public nuisance.
  • Cooler boxes, camera bags, bags, briefcases, backpacks, and woman’s purses (small clutch bags are allowed).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES

Food and beverages will be available for sale at the venue. No food or beverages (including alcohol) may be brought to the venue and no drinking will be allowed outside in the car parks.

SAPS will act against anyone caught buying or selling tickets or illegal merchandise outside the venue.

Security will confiscate any alcohol in the car parks and refuse entry into the venue to any persons that are intoxicated.

Fans are reminded to stay in their seats, you are not allowed to stand in the aisles or on your seat or move closer to the stage, security will be in place to monitor the event throughout. Under no circumstances are patrons allowed to stand up against the stage barricade, security will be in place to ensure aisles and barricade are kept clear during the performance. Should you not adhere to the rules, security will eject you from the venue.
